Syllabus as per Grade and Age

Group A: Grade 1 and Grade 2 (Age between 6yrs. and 7yrs. born after 01-01-2017)
Group B: Grade 3 and 4 (Age between 8yrs. and 9yrs. i.e., born between 01-01-2015 and 31-12-2016) 
Group C: Grade 5 and 6 (Age between 10yrs. and 11yrs. i.e., born between 01-01-2013 and 31-12-2014)
Group D: Grade 7 and 8 (Age between 12yrs. and 13yrs. i.e., born between 01-01-2011 and 31-12-2012)
Group E: Grade 9 and above (Age 14yrs. and above i.e., born before 31-12-2010)

Restriction

Contestants shall not be allowed to use any kind of Electronic Devices.

Limitation of Registration

There is no limitation to register the contestants. School can decide the number of contestants in every age group and number of categories. We suggest that registering at least 30 contestants in each category and every group may help to win the championship.

Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation and Replacement of students are not at all allowed, once registered cannot be altered.
Registration fee shall not be returned if there is any cancellation.

Competition Categories and Number of Each Category has 1 Paper only

1. Additions and Subtraction – 1 Paper only
2. Multiplication – 1 Paper only
3. Division – 1 Paper only

Each category has separate championship, contestants can select one or more categories to register. Each category to be registered separately and the fee to be paid separately for every category.

Time Limit of each category Objective Type only – Each sum 10Marks

1. Additions and Subtraction – 5min.
2. Multiplication – 5min. and
3. Division – 5min.

Important Points

Every participant can register all categories. Every Category has separate competition. It is mandatory to Tick mark the respective Category/s while registering for championship. Contestant/s cannot take part in an event which is not chosen at the time of registration.
Don’t miss to select the categories while registering the students.
Cancellation is not allowed and Payments cannot be returned at any situation.

Syllabus, Number of Sums and Time Limit to complete the Competition

Group wise syllabus are designed, each group will have different syllabus. Every category will have separate time for the competition. Contestants who are registered more than one category have to attend the competition as per time scheduled for the respective category.

School and Students Registration

Every contestant has to register through the Account Page of respective school. Students cannot register if the school is not registered in Olympiads-WNC. As soon as the school management completes the Contestant’s Registration, necessary Login Credentials shall be provided to every student to access the Online Free Pre-Competition Practice (all registered students login credentials shall be sent to registered email id of the respective school).

School and Students Registration will start from 20th May 2024 onwards to register the School and Students and Registration will close at 23:59hrs. on 20thAugust 2024.

This is one time registration to attend all the levels up to final Championships.

Allotment of Competition Centre

District Level Talent Hunt Competition Centre shall be allowed based on the number of students registered in various categories of competition. The schools which are registering for more than 500 students in same or different categories of competition shall be allotted as competition centre to the respective school students. They need not to go any other centre to attend the competition.

Marks Evaluation

Award of Marks:
Marks will be awarded to every correct answer.

Negative Marks

Every wrong answer will have equal value of Negative Marks, which will be deducted from the total marks obtained.

Nil/Invalid Mark

No Tick marks i.e., Blank/Empty spaces will have neutral/zero value, it won’t be considered at all and not accountable.

Cash Awards

There are Cash Awards to National Champions, All the cash awards shall be distributed at the end of the Phase-III National Level competition.

Trophies only, No Cash Awards

Instead of cash awards the trophies only can be awarded at the following situation – Cash award shall not be applied when there are less than 5,000 contestants in a group in every category.

Participation Certificate:

Every winner will receive the achievers certificate and others will get Participation Certificate of every Phase.

Transfer of Registration Fee

All the registration fee to be paid via wire transfer only. Cash payments are not acceptable.
